Harbor Lights Baptist Church has a vision to make a difference in the community God has placed us in. We believe because all authority has been given to Jesus Christ we are to take seriously the marching orders of Matthew 28:19-20 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations ...teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." Therefore we resolve to "go" reach the people, and "teach" the truths of the scriptures until Jesus comes back.

Our Pastor
Pastor Jim Powell, his wife Tracy and daughters Krista and Amanda have been with us going on five years. God has truely used those years of leadership to grow a church that concentrates on the study of His Word, while challenging each of us to minister outside the church walls, in the homes and streets of Lafayette, Georgia. A Spirit filled church always carries the gospel to the world around it. Come with us and make a difference in the lives of people around us.
